Past Activities

2003
  • In conjunction with the Friends of Africa, AZACA hosted the H.E Dr. Inonge Mbikusita Lewanika, Ambassador of the Republic of Zambia to the Americas.
  • AZACA working with the Los Angeles - Lusaka Sister Committee invited and hosted World famous novelist Ngugi Wa Thiongo to deliver a lecture on the “Independence of the Mind.” This was part of the 39th Independence celebration.

2004

  • AZACA, in conjunction with the Los Angeles - Lusaka Sister Committee hosted H.E Dr. Mbikusita Lewanika (Ambassador). The Sister Committee donated medical equipment to the University Teaching Hospital in Lusaka, Zambia.
